Young People

This is the name for our group for eleven to fourteen year olds on a Sunday morning, who go out for their own activities most weeks, and occasionally stay in for the whole service.

Breakers and Breakers Plus
These youth clubs meet on a Friday evening and are open to all in school years 4 to 9.  A wide range of activities takes place over the course of the year including ten pin bowling, pool, table tennis, ice skating and loads more.  During the summer we use the local fields for wide games and sports and we end most evenings with a 'God slot'.

This is a more laid-back group for year 10 upwards, meeting on Sunday evenings at 6.30pm.  The group has a varied programme including discussion evenings, going out to various events and sometimes meeting up with other similar groups in the area.

Fun Days
Up to Four days of fun and games during school holidays and at the start of the summer holidays with activities ranging from indoor and outdoor games and water sports to crafts and 'First Things First'.  This involves informal teaching about the Christian faith through drama, quizzes, Bible stories etc.  There is a team of helpers made up of past Fun Days young people who help make the four days exciting and fun for everyone, while the sessions are led by a dedicated team of adults.  Fun Days are open to school years 4 to 6.
